339. In connection with any request the Soviet Government may have made or may make of UNRRA for assistance it should perhaps be taken into consideration that UNRRA is already extending substantial [Page 1029] assistance to the Soviet Union in that most of the supplies UNRRA is furnishing to Czechoslovakia merely replace a part of the much larger quantities of livestock, food and equipment the Soviet Army continues to remove from the territory of its Czech ally.
