His Majesty’s Embassy has the honour to inform the State Department that in compliance with their request Sir Edward Grey has directed Sir Lionel Garden to instruct the British Consular officers at Frontera, La Paz, Ensenada, Colima, Salina Cruz and Acapulco to take charge of American interests in the absence of French Consular officers in those places.
