At 8 o’clock last night committee Mexicans notified Americans in Nacozari they must leave. Train was assembled, Americans were disarmed and placed aboard. All arrived safely at Douglas on border 6 a.m. today. Estimated that hundred and twenty Americans [Page 677] came out. Cananea Consolidated Copper Company closing its mine at Cananea tonight. Second special train being held there to bring out all remaining Americans who will come.
