President Truman and Winston S. Churchill, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, met in Washington January 5–18, 1952, to discuss a wide range of issues of common concern. These discussions included consideration of matters affecting the national security policy of the United States. For documentation on the TrumanChurchill talks, see volume VI.
