My Dear Pasha, I have the honor to inform Your Excellency in strictest confidence that the President of the United States is expected to arrive in Egypt in the near future.
Your Excellency will realize that the exigencies of travel in time of war require special safeguards and that the utmost secrecy is prescribed both prior and following the President’s arrival in Egypt.
