The Acting Secretary of the Navy (Coontz) to the Secretary of State

Sir: I have the honor to acknowledge receipt of your letter of July 12th, relating to the recent trial and sentence of certain Dominicans. I enclose herewith copy of the dispatch forwarded to the Acting Military Governor today.36
Rear Admiral S. S. Robison is returning to San Domingo at once with instructions to comply with the wishes of the State Department.
