Sir: The Department has received your telegram of the 8th instant, and your letter of the 11th of the same month, in regard to the proposed temporary loan of $500,000 to Honduras, and begs to say in reply that it has already taken up the matter to which you referred with Mr. Zemurray, who has doubtless already advised you of the substance of the interview.
