Military conditions unchanged. Government troops to-day were in touch with forces under Gómez near line between Santa Clara and Camaguey Provinces but are awaiting arrival of regiment sent by sea from Habana before attacking.

Petrel of naval station is at Santiago. Consul there again reports conditions growing worse but no details.
