The following changes have been made to the online version of Foreign Relations, 1961–1963, Volume XVI, Eastern Europe; Cyprus; Greece; Turkey. Please be aware that printed volumes have not been revised. Revised information is in italic.

  • 1. Footnote 1, Document 115. Page 250.
  • The revised footnote reads: “1. In November 1961, West German authorities arrested Yugoslav businessman L. Varcaric in Munich for the killing of two German soldiers during World War II. Less than a week later, Varcaric was released amidst protests from the Yugoslav government.
  • Footnote 1 originally read: “1. On November 11, 1961, Yugoslav authorities arrested a West German businessman, L. Vracaric, and charged him with war crimes. Following protests from the West German Government, he was released.”
