1264. Sir Orme Sargent states that instructions along the lines of paragraph 7 of his letter of February 11 are being sent to the British Ambassador, Moscow. He assumed that the American Ambassador will receive similar instructions from the Department13 (this refers to the Department’s 1120, February 14, 2 p.m.).
