- You are authorized to accompany Governor Svane to Ivigtut on the Campbell.
- 2.
- We will inquire informally whether it would be possible to apply cost of excess small arms towards payment for another 3-inch gun. We suggest, however, that no decision be made on this point by Governor Svane as yet as small arms not needed in Ivigtut might be usefully employed at other points in Greenland.
- 3.
- We can of course make no commitment regarding purchase of this equipment by the United States Government after the war.
