As the Mexican National Railway refused to grant any of the demands of the American employees, these, amounting to from 700 to 800, will strike on the 15th and leave their posts. I have used all my influence with the Government, the railways, and the men to prevent the crisis and am deeply disappointed that no good result has followed.
