Newspapers report that there are at Juárez only 100 Federals to oppose a large insurrectionary force. Would not the Mexican Government, understanding that further firing into El Paso would be intolerable, be disposed spontaneously to give such orders as would preclude the possibility of fighting in Juárez or its immediate vicinity?
