Newspapers report that there are at Juárez only 100 Federals to oppose a large insurrectionary force. Would not the Mexican [Page 879] Government, understanding that further firing into El Paso would be intolerable, be disposed spontaneously to give such orders as would preclude the possibility of fighting in Juárez or its immediate vicinity?
